IS alchemy seriously the bases for modern chemistry and pyhsics?
Q. Alchemy Ive found it is the science or art of trying to turn or"transmute" base metals into gold. I looked around and thingd on the internet said that alchemy is in fact the bases for a lot of mordern scientific practices. And things like nuclear transmutation exist because of alchemy I just want to here people's opinion on this.

A. The activities of the alchemists did allow them to stumble across the physical principles that became the foundations for modern chemistry. See the reference for more details:

What should I convert using low level alchemy in RuneScape?
Q. I get all my nature runes fro drops (no GP loss there). I am using a fire staff (no GP loss there). What should I convert into coins. I am mainly trying to train magic. I do not care about GP loss, however, it would be nice (and I'd much rather) to use the low level alchemy on something that has a spawn point so I do not lose any GP at all.

Is it a possibility to alter the human body with alchemy or magick?
Q. The human body is grotesquely ugly, weak, and fragile. Is it possible to first experiment and then alter a body through any kind of alchemy or with magick circles? The changes necessary would be additional appendages, epidermal alterations, additional organs, and alterations of present senses/organs. I would like to make a note that this is no joke and will ignore any individuals who think that I am being humourous. Do not lecture, it's a waste of time. Provide answers or websites only.

A. the short answer... no. a quick quote on magick... "Magick will allow you to recognize who and what you are so that you may realize your full potential; however, it will not transform you into something which you are incapable of being." Gerald del Campo and now the lecture. you would probably achieve far greater results by changing your view of the human body and figuring out where that view came from. all life, from bacteria to redwood is fragile and can be wiped out on a whim. the human body is as weak as the human within it allows it to be. grotesque ugliness and sublime beauty are both within the eye of the beholder. it is impossible to randomly decide to grow an extra limb or organ or to alter your skin. those things are possible… [cont.]

What alchemy recipes are going to make me the most money in WoW?
Q. I'm on a PVE server and at lvl 300 in alchemy. Which potions or elixirs are going to make me the most money. I have herbology as a second profession but I am much more prone to buying herbs at the AH for convenience. Any thoughts?

A. Generally speaking, the Auction House is a poor way for you to obtain Herbs, especially if you have the Herbalism skill. As was mentioned earlier, the Gatherer Add-On is an excellent way to keep track of locations for Herbs you have collected in the past. Specific to recipes, high level Mana and Health potions are indeed popular with specific classes (for example, Paladins love Mana Potions). However, since Burning Crusade has been released and the highest recipes are at 375, your recipes are sub par currently. Elixirs have a somewhat more limited appeal, and this appeal is likely to be impacted by the implementation of offensive/defensive elixirs in 2.1. As stated in the patch notes, all elixirs will be categorized as offensive and… [cont.]

Q. I just got to level 55 Magic and now I want to know what the best item to alchemy is. This means money wise.

A. Well You Can't Make Any Money From It, However The Best Thing To Do Is Addy Platebodies. With The Cost Of The Nature Rune And The Plate Body It Will Cost You 30gp Per High Level Alch (Roughly The Price Of 3 Iron Ores for every 10 you high alc, If You Use A Fire Staff). So If You Want To Increase Your Magic Using High Level Alchemy I Would Recommend Using It On Addy Platebodies. And To Illidan: Mithril Bars Are Worth 1147Gp Each So Therefore The 3,120 Coins From High Alching A Mith Plate Body Is A 2,615 Coin Defecit

Q. What other forms of magic were practiced besides Alchemy, please explain.
Asked by Harmine - Tue Oct 21 17:35:24 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Divination(mostly astrology, but other forms as well) was very common. Many kings and queens continually sought astrologers to make predictions for them. And of course, outside of the court and wealthy, each village/town had one or several witches or medicine women. And never forget that there is so much more that happened which is not documented.

Asked by Theauthor217 - Fri Nov 28 14:24:19 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Completely depends on your class... If your a warrior obviously you probably shouldn't at least not till endgame. If your a cloth wearer, then you probably shouldn't be a M/B anyway. The worst part of switching would be that M/B kinda feed off of eachother. You can still make money, mining more than B. (also hugely depends on your level) but they lose the combo factor.

A. Esotericism and organized religion are always critiquing each other, and sometimes coexisting while sometimes being at odds. Sufis who can be called esoteric though that hardly does justice to their complex beliefs are sometimes being labeled heretics and apostates by many of the fundamentalists who dominate public discourse with their often violent actions. This is not always such a bad thing. Plotinus wrote a denunciation of the Gnostics. Well, as a Pagan, don't you think it would be reasonable that he would stay out of internal Christian feuds? Do Alchemy and Tantra play an important part in your spiritual journey?
Q. At the base of all human activity one finds the central importance of sex. Religion is no exception. However, the public has not been introduced to the sacred role of sexuality in the esoteric or "secret" knowledge hidden inside every religion. Thus, in modern times sex has become desecrated and defiled, while it was once known to be the entrance into the mysteries of the Divine. Are you bringing this beautiful and honorable path back to the forefront?

A. Sex magick is very potent when the energy is built up and directed towards a specific goal. Many Pagans and Wiccans use this type of energy in private working and mass gatherings. Alchemy, rather than making Gold from Lead, focuses more on separating "spiritual Gold" from "pyshical lead" and is one of many paths up the mountain. I have studied small portions of both and I would be very grateful if you could send me some reading material on these subjects... Peace and Love to you Kali...

Q. Im looking for a item the I can alch and i can buy it again for profit?
Asked by Mason D - Thu Feb 19 16:47:56 2009 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments
A. There is actually no such item that you can buy in mass amounts, buy nature runes, and then high alchemy for profit. The reason is, if there was, the price of the item would rise and, in turn, making the process yet again obsolete. You would have to either fletch the item yourself (yew longbows or magic longbows) or craft the nature runes.
